This order establishes procedures using the Surface Awareness Initiative Display (SAID) for increased situational awareness of Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B) equipped and transmitting aircraft/vehicles in the vicinity of or on the airport surface area. All SAIDs belong to the Surface Awareness Initiative (SAI) program, a part of the FAA’s Surface Safety Portfolio.
